The difference is not effort, it is scope and time. A regular clean keeps a home level. The others reset it. If you are not sure, start with a deep clean and go regular from there.
Regular clean
The one that keeps your home the way you want it. Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, with the same cleaner each time. This is what most people book and never change.
What gets done
- Kitchen: counters, sink, hob, outside of appliances, cupboard fronts
- Bathrooms: toilet, shower, bath, sink, mirrors, tiles
- All rooms dusted, surfaces wiped, mirrors done
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
- Bins emptied, handles and light switches wiped
- Beds made if fresh linen is left out
Not in this one
- Inside the oven or fridge
- Inside cupboards or wardrobes
- Windows, inside or out
- Walls, ceilings and light fittings
- Laundry, dishes or tidying away belongings
Deep clean
Everything in a regular clean, plus the parts that get missed when you are keeping on top of things. Book it once to reset a home, or as your first clean before a regular plan starts.
Everything above, plus
- Skirting boards, door frames and doors
- Inside the oven and inside the fridge
- Limescale, grout and shower screens worked properly
- Behind and under furniture that moves
- Light fittings, vents and switch plates
- Cupboard fronts, handles and kickboards
Worth knowing
It takes roughly half again as long as a regular clean, which is where the price comes from. If your home has not had a proper clean in six months or more, this is the honest starting point. Going straight to a regular clean on a home that needs a reset leaves everybody disappointed.
Move-out clean
An empty home, cleaned for handover. Landlords, buyers and property managers expect the same standard, and this is built to meet it. It also works as a move-in, before your things arrive.
Everything above, plus
- Inside every cupboard, drawer and wardrobe
- Interior windows, sills and tracks
- Inside all appliances, including the dishwasher and washer
- Marks on walls spot cleaned where they will come off
- Balconies, garages and utility rooms on request
Worth knowing
Book it for after the movers, not before. A move-out clean on a home that still has furniture in it is a different job and we will have to requote it. You get the full photo set, which is what most people end up sending to a landlord.
After building work
Renovation and construction dust gets into everything and needs different equipment and more passes. Always quoted individually, because no two of these are the same.
Everything above, plus
- Fine dust removed in multiple passes, not one
- Paint flecks, adhesive and plaster residue
- Vents, tracks, rails and every horizontal surface
- Window frames, sills and interior glass
Worth knowing
Tell us the size of the job when you enquire and we will price it properly rather than guessing. Heavy debris and anything needing removal from site is not included, and we will say so up front rather than on the day.
